Through a chance encounter with Phil, the owner of a Uhaul company in East Los Angeles in 2017, we discover his past career as the manger for kickboxing legend Benny the Jet Urquidez. The documentary explores parallels between the US and Japan relations through politics and kickboxing during the 1980’s. Themes of subjective and objective violence, hidden labor, and human error take center stage.
